Balance Through the Lens of Ayurveda

Join Jessica for the first in a seasonal workshop series exploring balance through the wisdom of Ayurveda—yoga’s sister science of self-understanding and harmony.


This two-hour experience will focus on Pitta, the fiery energy of summer associated with transformation, drive, and intensity. Together, we’ll explore how Pitta shows up in body, mind, and behavior—and how to recognize when it’s in or out of balance.


We’ll begin with a lighthearted and informative “Foundations in 5” to introduce the essentials of Ayurveda—no prior experience needed. You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of your own nature and practical tools to support balance in the heat of the season, including mindful movement to cool and ground, breathwork and lifestyle tips to soothe Pitta energy, journaling prompts and simple daily rituals, and space for reflection and discussion.


Whether you’re new to Ayurveda or have some familiarity, you’re welcome exactly as you are. Each workshop in this series stands on its own—join us anytime.

Do you need a little time to slow down, ease your transition into the summer season, and reconnect with yourself as the second half of the year unfolds?

 

The longer days of summer offer a perfect opportunity to embrace life more fully and make the most of nature’s generous light. But living vibrantly during this season can sometimes leave us feeling depleted. This retreat will offer the opportunity to let go of busy schedules and distractions, spend some quality time with yourself, and realign with your intentions for 2025.

 

We’ll explore Pratyahara, the yogic limb of sense withdrawal. Rather than a “group-share”-style discussion, we'll maintain an inward focus using journaling, breathwork (pranayama), gentle movement, and guided meditation to reset and recharge.

Full Moon Flow

The full moon is an invitation to shine a light into the shadows and identify what is holding us back, what we can release, and an opportunity for emotional cleansing. In the Full Moon Flow, we connect mantras to each pose in our Vinyasa practice. The mantras are based on the specific month's full moon theme and are meant to awaken and inspire your power within. After the Vinyasa practice, we move into journaling to reflect on the insights gained and end with Restorative poses to help those insights settle into your mind and body.

Flow, Stretch, Chill

This class blends movement, deep stretching, and relaxation for a truly balanced experience. We’ll begin with about 30 minutes of all-levels vinyasa flow to energize and unwind, followed by about 30 minutes of deep stretch, grounding yin poses to release tension. The final 10–15 minutes are dedicated to complete relaxation through guided techniques that will leave you feeling refreshed and restored. A well-rounded practice that is the perfect way to let go and settle into a sense of ease will be offered the first Friday of each month. The perfect way to ease into your weekend!

Sunday Sangha

Whether you are new to meditation or looking to deepen your practice, our in-studio guided meditation is a chance to connect, grow and find support within our community or Sangha.  Led by certified Meditation teacher Missy McMurray, this class offers a welcoming space to explore meditation techniques that calm the mind, connect with the body and nurture a deep sense of presence. 


Each class includes a new principle with a guided meditation, followed by time for reflection and sharing (sharing is optional).

Are you new to yoga, or has it been a long time since you've taken a class? Then this is the class for you! Our team is highly skilled in teaching optimal yoga alignment, breathing techniques, and meditation. We will help you every step of the way if you are new, injured, or just nervous to get started. If you are looking for a gentle entry into a yoga practice, then this is the best place to start!

Summer Teen Yoga Series

A special 10-week series just for teens ages 11–15!

Join us for a fun, supportive, and empowering Hatha Yoga class designed to help teens feel good, manage stress, and build strength, balance, and confidence on and off the mat. 


  • No experience is needed.
  • Friendly, welcoming teachers.
  • A great way to move, breathe, and feel good!


This 1-hour class moves through yoga postures, teaches breath work, and creates a supportive environment to move your body, calm your mind, and have some fun!
