Sound Healing

Sunday, April 27th 3 - 4pm

$40    *$35 for members

Experience the therapeutic and nourishing power of sound, vibration, and frequency in
this meditative sound healing event.

Sound Healing has many restorative benefits. The intention is to relax the body and calm the mind. In this state of deep relaxation and stillness your body is naturally able to come back into balance. The frequencies of the singing bowls and other instruments can sooth and calm the nervous system, evoke altered states of awareness, reduce stress, clear energetic blockages, and release stored trauma. Led by certified sound healing practitioner, Jeana McDonald.

Full Moon Flow

Friday, May 9th 5:30pm - 7:00pm

$35 *$30 members

The full moon is an invitation to shine a light into the shadows and identify what is holding us back, what we can release, and an opportunity for emotional cleansing. In the Full Moon Flow, we connect mantras to each pose in our Vinyasa practice. The mantras are based on the specific month's full moon theme and are meant to awaken and inspire your power within. After the Vinyasa practice, we move into journaling to reflect on the insights gained and end with Restorative poses to help those insights settle into your mind and body.

May's Flower Moon

May's Full Moon is the Flower Moon. With this moon, we are encouraged to face our shadows, release the past, and know that we will emerge stronger from doing so. In keeping with the spirit of spring, we are also reminded to nurture our gardens by cultivating our intentions and appreciating the beauty that surrounds us.

This class is designed for the experienced Grow Strong Hatha or Strong Flow Vinyasa student who is ready to work toward poses that require greater strength and range of motion. With the aid of props and teachings of alignment, we will learn how to progress mindfully into a variety of balance postures, inversions, and backbends by progressively building strength and openness. With an emphasis on respecting the internal cues of our body, we will learn how to honor our unique edges and trust our internal spirit to guide us.
