Gather & Ground: A Seasonal Yoga Retreat

October 9-11, 2026 | Salishan Coastal Lodge – Gleneden Beach, Oregon Coast

Hosted by

Escape to Yoga,  Breathe Yoga & Soulfully Amanda

Step away from the noise and into the rhythm of the ocean. Nestled where lush coastal forest meets the sand and sound of the waves, this Seasonal Retreat offers a peaceful pause to reconnect—with yourself, with nature, and with the steady support of community.

Over three nourishing days and two restful nights, we’ll gather in community for yoga, meditation, nature walks, sound healing, ceremony, and intentional rest. Inspired by the belief that we are all waves in the same ocean, this retreat offers a chance to remember your wholeness and move gently toward balance, healing, and spacious presence.

Experience the therapeutic and nourishing power of sound, vibration, and frequency in
this meditative sound healing event.

Sound Healing has many restorative benefits. The intention is to relax the body and
calm the mind. In this state of deep relaxation and stillness your body is naturally able
to come back into balance. The frequencies of the singing bowls and other instruments
can sooth and calm the nervous system, evoke altered states of awareness, reduce
stress, clear energetic blockages, and release stored trauma.

Salma

Meet Salma

I’ve been practicing yoga on and off for over 16 years, but my connection to the practice deepened in 2021 when I unexpectedly stepped into a Vinyasa class. That class left me feeling calm, energized, and completely present — what I like to call a “yoga high” that lasted for hours — and it sparked a deeper curiosity about the practice.

Inspired by how transformative yoga felt, I completed my 200-hour Vinyasa teacher training at YogaSix in Danville, California, in 2024. Since then, I’ve enjoyed sharing yoga through volunteer classes and with friends and family.

My intention as a teacher is to create a welcoming, supportive space where people of all levels feel comfortable exploring their practice. I believe yoga is not just about flexibility — it’s about building strength, balance, and a deeper connection with yourself.

A chance to be nurtured by nature, movement, and community.

Let this be your day to pause.

Escape to Yoga and Breathe Yoga invite you to step away from the noise of everyday life and spend a full day immersed in movement, nature, and deep restoration in the stunning Columbia River Gorge.

Our day begins with a moderate 3-mile guided wildflower hike at the breathtaking Mosier Plateau. We’ll move at an intentional, supportive pace, allowing time to breathe, connect, and take in the sweeping Gorge views as spring blooms surround us.

After our hike, we’ll transition into pure relaxation with exclusive access to the Society Hotel Spa.  During our private hour, you’ll enjoy moving between the hot soak, sauna, and cold plunge — a deeply rejuvenating experience for both body and nervous system.

From there, we’ll gather in the Society’s beautiful yoga sanctuary for a 1-hour Yin Yoga practice, designed to help you soften, release, and fully integrate the day’s experiences.

We’ll close our retreat with a nourishing lunch at Feast Market, offering time for conversation, grounding, and connection before heading home.

This retreat is for you if you’re craving:

  • Time in nature
  • Gentle adventure
  • Meaningful connection
  • Deep rest and restoration
